French Vogue Cover

This look I originally saw on Lisa Eldridge's youtube channel when she had her special guest Charlotte Tilbury in a video demo-ing the look she did for this month's French Vogue cover featuring Kate Moss. I tried to re-create it as best as I could, but Charlotte is such an amazing artist I probably can't even hold a candle to her, but here's my attempt anyway! Hope you enjoy!

Skin:
Fix+ and Strobe Cream to prep skin
MAC Face and Body in N3
MAC Quite Natural Pain Pot mixed with Careblends Oil to contour

Eyes:
MAC Quite Natural Paint Pot on lids and crease
MAC Charcoal Brown eyeshadow in brows

Lips:
MAC l/l in Cherry
MAC l/s in Lady Danger

Fall Trends/Fresh Skin & Bold LIps

All I have seen for makeup for the Fall season is clean, fresh, dewy skin, dark purple/wine lips with minimal (if any) eye makeup. In this post I actually skipped mascara altogether. It's not for everyone but I gave it a go!
Also this Fall is big on contoured/highlighted faces. MAC's new Face and Body Collection is all about this trend; coming out with creamy contour products and pressed pigments to highlight. In the looks below I didn't have any of MAC's new contour creams from the new collection so I just made my own by mixing a few things together.
Naturally I wanted to do a few different looks using these concepts so this is what I came up with! I kept my face and eye makeup the same, but changed up my lips for a few different lip looks. The link posted below is from Beautylish to an article about this very trend! Take a read if you like and I hope you enjoy!

My Take on Bridal

So, I decided to do something simple and wearable and a little bit bridal :) hope you enjoy!
I'll probably post another look with more of a pinky theme; this one is more on the peachy side. BTW the products are all MAC unless stated otherwise.

Face and Body Foundation in N3
Refined Golden Bronzer
Pro Powder Blush in Taupe to contour
Powder Blush in Peach Twist
Iridescent Loose Powder in Silver Dusk

Eyes:
Vanillas e/s for highlight
Vapour e/s on lid with Solar Bits pigment on top to add sparkle
Amber Lights e/s on outer lid and crease
Wedge e/s in crease, Embark to darken
Charcoal Brown in brows
Extended Play mascara (I stinkin' LOVE this mascara)

Lips:
Sublime Culture cremestick liner
Persistent Peach Prolongwear Lipglass

 Thanks! XOXO
