New Case for my Professional Kit

So back in December my husband bought me a brand new case for my professional kit. I had been looking at this case for a long time and had long ago outgrown my old case, so needless to say I was very excited about all the space in my new case :) best part about this case is that it has a pull out handle so you can roll it like a suitcase. My old case definitely didn't have that option!
The case consists of two pieces. The top piece detaches from the bottom if you need a smaller option for a job.

Side zipper pouch.

Bottom portion open without top piece.

Top portion open without bottom piece.

And lastly, my old case. As you can see, I definitely traded up ;)

Now, I'll admit that I was a little bit leery about purchasing this foundation, but I really wanted to try something different. I had been reading about this stuff from other bloggers for a while and figured I would see if it would work for me. My first impression is great. Being that it's a "luminous" foundation, I expected the coverage to be kind of sheer like MAC's Face & Body but surprisingly the coverage was about a medium. I personally enjoy a medium to full coverage foundation, so this was right up my ally! Especially for the price! However, I will need to wear it a little bit more to see how it fairs on my SUPER oily skin, but from what I can tell I think I am going to really love this foundation!

XOXO Hannah

French Vogue Cover

This look I originally saw on Lisa Eldridge's youtube channel when she had her special guest Charlotte Tilbury in a video demo-ing the look she did for this month's French Vogue cover featuring Kate Moss. I tried to re-create it as best as I could, but Charlotte is such an amazing artist I probably can't even hold a candle to her, but here's my attempt anyway! Hope you enjoy!

Fix+ and Strobe Cream to prep skin
MAC Face and Body in N3
MAC Quite Natural Pain Pot mixed with Careblends Oil to contour

Eyes:
MAC Quite Natural Paint Pot on lids and crease
MAC Charcoal Brown eyeshadow in brows

Lips:
MAC l/l in Cherry
MAC l/s in Lady Danger

Fall Trends/Fresh Skin & Bold LIps

All I have seen for makeup for the Fall season is clean, fresh, dewy skin, dark purple/wine lips with minimal (if any) eye makeup. In this post I actually skipped mascara altogether. It's not for everyone but I gave it a go!
Also this Fall is big on contoured/highlighted faces. MAC's new Face and Body Collection is all about this trend; coming out with creamy contour products and pressed pigments to highlight. In the looks below I didn't have any of MAC's new contour creams from the new collection so I just made my own by mixing a few things together.
Naturally I wanted to do a few different looks using these concepts so this is what I came up with! I kept my face and eye makeup the same, but changed up my lips for a few different lip looks. The link posted below is from Beautylish to an article about this very trend! Take a read if you like and I hope you enjoy!
